The Role
We're looking for a Media Account Director who can think strategically and get their hands dirty. You'll own paid media campaigns from pitch to performance analysis, working directly with clients who expect smart thinking and measurable results.
This is a 12-month maternity cover role. We're open to either full-time or part-time arrangements – just let us know your preference when you apply. For full-time, you'll work Tuesday to Thursday from our Yarraville office, Monday and Friday from home.
What you'll own:
- Client relationships across all paid media accounts – from day-to-day collaboration to presenting to senior stakeholders
- End-to-end campaign delivery across Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube), Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic, and traditional media (radio, OOH, publisher partnerships)
- Media strategy development, pitch presentations, and securing new business
- Audience strategy including custom audiences, lookalike targeting, and first-party data segmentation
- Structured A/B testing across creative, audiences, and bidding strategies
- Budget management, media negotiation, and financial reporting
- Conversion tracking setup and maintenance (GTM, GA4, Meta Events Manager, LinkedIn)
- Performance reporting with actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Landing page CRO opportunities and cross-channel optimisation
- Collaborating with our creative, dev, and content teams to deliver integrated campaigns
What You Bring
Experience:
- 5+ years managing end-to-end media campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Track record of implementing tracking solutions via Google Tag Manager, GA4, Meta Events Manager
- Working knowledge of WordPress/CMS, CRM platforms, email marketing, and customer journey mapping
- Bonus: experience with Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
Skills:
- You can present complex media strategies to clients who may not speak the language – and make it click
- You're comfortable managing multiple campaigns while juggling internal teams and external partners
- Numbers don't scare you. You analyse data, spot opportunities, and translate findings into stories clients actually understand
- You adapt fast when platforms change (because they always do)
- You're meticulous about campaign setup, tracking, budgets, and reporting – no detail too small
