About Us

The Pear Tree is a much-loved local café in Hamilton Hill, offering quality coffee, fresh food, and warm service during the day, and transforming into a relaxed tapas and pizza bar in the evenings. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, vibrant space for our community to enjoy.

We are currently looking for two part-time Front of House team members to join our growing team:


Morning Role – Barista / FOH
  • Part-time mornings, including weekdays and weekends.
  • Strong barista skills with confidence on the coffee machine.
  • Ability to provide fast, friendly service during busy breakfast rushes.
  • A positive, reliable team player who enjoys early starts.
Evening Role – FOH / Tapas & Pizza Bar
  • Part-time evenings, mainly Thursday to Saturday..
  • Previous FOH experience essential; knowledge of casual dining service highly valued.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and bring energy to a busy, social environment.
  • Friendly and professional, with a passion for creating a great customer experience.

  • Previous hospitality experience (café or restaurant).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Team players with a "can-do" attitude and strong work ethic.
