Joining our Internal Audit team, you will play a meaningful role in improving our organisation's sophisticated, highly regulated, and diverse operations

Reporting to the Director Group Internal Audit, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a team undergoing change and transformation

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform internal audits and deliver assurance and consulting services in accordance with our Internal Audit Methodology and professional internal auditing standards.
  • Effectively leverage technology tools and data analytics to optimise audit coverage and efficiency and to provide valuable insights to the business.
  • Exercise good commercial acumen and ensure audit recommendations are balanced, sustainable and risk based.
  • Drive the development of the Internal Audit function by recommending and supporting operational improvement of processes, systems, and tools.
  • Coordinate and manage audit team resources on your projects to ensure that they are effectively and efficiently utilised. Project manage delivery of audits within agreed resource and time budgets.
  • Coach and support colleagues to achieve a level of engagement with the business which promotes Internal Audit as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop and nurture talent to drive a high performing and achieving team.

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • Prior experience in assurance, risk and controls with relevant qualifications from professional bodies CIA, CPA, CISA or equivalent.
  • A mix of analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for integrity in financial and operational processes.
  • Ability to communicate and influence across a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Strong problems solver with the ability to think laterally.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills to deliver across multiple competing and time-bound priorities.
  • Proficient in data analytics, experienced in using audit software and process improvement.
