Job details:
Archon are seeking two (2) highly skilled and motivated Full Stack and Angular Developers. These positions are integral to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality digital solutions that support our clients Whole-of-Government service obligations.
Developers will operate within an agile delivery team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our clients PDMS application. They will provide technical expertise while working collaboratively with product managers, scrum masters, testers, designers, and other developers to deliver functional, user-centric products through iterative and incremental development cycles.
These roles are responsible for translating technical requirements into working solutions, ensuring the PDMS product is robust, scalable, and aligned with agile principles. The team values collaboration, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering value to users in every sprint.
Full Stack Developer:
The Full Stack Developer will work across the entire technology stack, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. This role is suited to individuals who enjoy building end-to-end solutions and thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.
Angular Developer:
The Angular Developer will focus on the front-end development of PDMS applications using the Angular framework. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in user experience, responsive design, and writing clean, maintainable code.
Key duties and responsibilities:
The following key duties and responsibilities apply to both the Full Stack Developer and Angular Developer roles include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical advice on proposed solutions and implementation approaches.
- Develop secure, fit-for-purpose code in accordance with established coding standards and practices.
- Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical and security documentation.
- Implement new functionality within a multi-tier enterprise environment, including front-end development, server-side logic, and database design.
- Investigate and resolve issues identified in developed solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement technical solutions.
- Advise on emerging technologies and their potential integration into existing or future solutions.
- Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Deploy solutions across multiple environments during go-live windows.
- Work closely with the Lead Developer to support efficient team operations.
- Prepare and maintain technical and release documentation.
- Mentor and upskill APS staff to support capability development and product delivery.
- Contribute to team workload planning and prioritisation.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams operating in an agile delivery environment.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Technical Skills both developers would require to successfully perform in this role include:
Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript | Azure DevOps | GIT repositories | Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) | Responsive design principals | Creating and executing unit testing |
Specific Technical Skills required to successfully perform in each unique role:
Full Stack Developer:C#, ASP.Net, client-side frameworks experience in an Enterprise environment | SQL Server | PowerShell | SharePoint | Windows Server.
Angular Web Developer:HTML5, CSS | Desirable but not essential: C#, ASP.Net, client-side frameworks experience in an Enterprise environment | SQL Server.
