About the role

As Internal Sales at Australian Timbers, you will play a crucial role in customer service whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers and ensure exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Customer service by phone, email and in person
  • Processing customer Quotes and Orders
  • Assist customers with stock and product enquiries
  • Follow given guidelines while not being afraid to make suggestions or provide constructive feedback
  • Continually learn and improve
  • Supporting account managers and warehouse staff

Skills and Experience include:

  • Knowledge of panel, timber and building supplies products will be highly regarded
  • Well developed written and verbal skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong customer service background
  • Ability to identify and prioritise requirements
  • Experience in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Current drivers licence required
