We're Dalekit – makers of awesome shade solutions and defenders against blinding sunlight. We're on the hunt for a full-time Internals Assembler to join our team of legends who turn raw parts into sleek, functional, brag-worthy products.
This is hands-on work: drills, rivet guns, quality checks, lifting things (up to 20kg, so start doing those squats), and the sweet satisfaction of building something real.
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
- Interpreting job sheets like a DIY master with a sixth sense
- Using hand tools without accidentally drilling into the table
- Assembling blinds that don't fall apart when someone breathes on them
- Meeting production deadlines like a boss
- Keeping your workspace tidy (your mum would be proud)
- Labelling, packing, wrapping — it's like gift-wrapping, but industrial
- Helping out your teammates when the going gets slow
What You Need to Bring:
- Hand tool confidence (you and a rivet gun should be besties)
- Ability to measure stuff correctly – this is not abstract art
- English skills strong enough to follow instructions that aren't in emoji form
- A solid back and a strong work ethic
- Problem-solving skills – if MacGyver can do it with a paperclip, you can too
- A good attitude, because we don't do grumpy here
- Legal right to work in Australia
- A body that can lift up to 20kg without calling in backup
Work Hours:
- Mon – Thurs: 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Fridays: 7:00am – 1:00pm (yes, really)
