Depot Location: Coolum

Successful leading transport and logistics company seeking an experienced driver for the Coolum Depot.

Driver Role:

Regional Floater Driver your main responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of the transportation and distribution of freight.

This is a FULL-TIME permanent position working from 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday 40 hours a week.

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

  • Travel to other regional depots when required to cover annual leave, etc.
  • Perform multi drop deliveries (parcel + pallet) daily, some will be hand unloaded and some fork on - fork off.
  • 2-3 scheduled pickups per day
  • Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of your assigned  vehicle
  • Maintain all freight, parcels and documentation.

Overnight allowance, all accommodation and travel expenses covered.

In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

  • MR/HR Drivers License (Essential).
  • Current Forklift License  (Preferred but not essential)
  • PDA Experience is preferred
  • Experience in the Transport and Logistics industry preferred
  • Current license history report for the previous five (5) years.
  • A high level of understanding for safe work practices relevant to the industry.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Professional and focused at all times. Reliability.
  • Exceptional Work Ethic.

Must be able to provide the follow if requested:

  • Prepared to undertake a Pre-employment medical including drug test.
  • Driving history report
