We're looking for a warm, motivated individual to join our team in a diverse dual role as a Childcare Cook and Early Childhood Trainee. You'll keep our children nourished and healthy while working toward your early childhood qualification — all while being supported by a passionate and experienced team.

About the Role:

• Cook meals and prepare snacks for up to 58 children (Monday to Friday)

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen in line with Food Safety regulations

• Manage online ordering and stock rotation

• Understand and cater for food allergies and dietary needs

• Support educators and contribute to daily tasks in centre rooms while completing your traineeship

• Build positive relationships with children and their families

What You'll Need:

• A current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid (or willing to obtain)

• Completed or willingness to complete a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

• Passion for food and cooking for children

• A good understanding of nutrition and healthy eating

• Previous experience in as a cook or kitchen hand (desired)

• Willingness to learn and an open, positive attitude

• Must be an Australian permanent resident

• A caring nature and genuine interest in early childhood education
