Key Responsibilities

As a Policy Officer, you'll contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of public policy that impacts Australians every day. You will:

• Research and develop evidence-based policy advice for senior decision-makers
• Prepare high-quality briefs, submissions, and correspondence
• Engage with stakeholders to inform robust policy outcomes
• Contribute to strategic planning and cross-government collaboration

About You

• Proven experience in policy development, analysis, or implementation within the APS or related environment
• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate complex information clearly

An existing Baseline or NV1 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
