Family Tree Learning Centre is a small family owned and operated 59 place centre located in beautiful Bateau Bay. The centre operates 8am-5pm and comprises of three beautiful, spacious and well-resourced rooms: 2-3 years, 3-4 years and 4-5 years. We also have a shared outdoor area that is landscaped to inspire creative and active play.

We are currently seeking casuals (Certificate III, Diploma) IMMEDIATE START with regular shifts available.

Our centre has been proudly operating for 17 years, providing high-quality education and care for children in a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment.

As our service values supporting our educators with leave and time off the floor for breaks and programming, we're looking for casual educators who are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy being part of a friendly, professional, and well-supported team.

About the Role

  • Casual, on-call positions available to cover staff leave, lunch breaks and programming time.
  • Work across all age groups – from toddlers to preschool (in 3 separate rooms and a shared playground).
  • Be part of a well-staffed centre with fantastic working conditions.

About You

We're looking for educators who are:

  • Qualified (Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care preferred). (assessed and recognised by ACECQA) WITH minimum of 2 years experience (and First Aid/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificate)
  • A commitment to your own ongoing professional development in early childhood
  • Two relevant and recent teaching references
  • A current working with children check (please provide WWC number and date of birth for verification prior to interview)
  • Experienced in working with children in an early childhood setting.
  • Adaptable and confident to work across different rooms and age groups.
  • Warm, friendly, and professional with a genuine love for children.
  • Able to supervise, engage, and have fun with both children and colleagues
