The Role
We are seeking an Audit Senior to join our Audit and Assurance division. You will be reporting directly to our experienced team of managers and working in co-operation with other team members to provide excellent service to our broad range of clients. You will have experience auditing the following types of entities:
Aged Care Facilities and Retirement Villages
Funds Managers/Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL)
Not-for-profit organisations
Private Hospital
Property Funds Managers
Registered clubs
Religious institutions and community centres
Schools and Tertiary institutions
Responsibilities of the role include:
Organising and attending client meetings.
Collecting, analysing, and interpreting financial.
Conducting audits and investigations in line with Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards, preparing statutory financial statements, and reporting to management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
Designing and implementing audit objectives, methodologies, and internal controls, while evaluating operational risks and effectiveness.
Planning audit engagements, identifying key risk areas, and providing regular updates to managers and partners.
Applying relevant accounting and auditing principles, laws, and regulations across diverse client portfolios.
Providing coaching and training to junior staff and liaising with clients to strengthen professional relationships.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and career-driven Senior Auditor who is looking to progress as part of a supportive and collaborative team. You will benefit from exposure to experienced professionals, regular training, and a workplace that values continuous learning and development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to ideally bring:
· CA/CPA qualification (or be in progress).
· A minimum of 3 years' local audit experience.
· A strong client-service focus and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· A friendly, cooperative attitude and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
· Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
· Initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
· Good organisational skills and proficiency in CaseWare, Accuri, Excel, and Word.
· A growth mindset and eagerness to continue developing professionally.
