Gardener/Groundskeeper

About the role

BSN Trading is seeking an experienced Gardener/Groundskeeper to join our team in Roma, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaping of our properties. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our outdoor spaces are well-kept and presentable.

What you'll be doing

• Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas
• Planting, watering, and caring for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees
• Weeding, mulching, and maintaining garden beds
• Clearing pathways and maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
• Identifying and addressing any issues or problems in the landscaping
• Providing input on landscaping improvements and projects

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a gardener, groundskeeper, or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, irrigation and grounds maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• A passion for maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces
