TCLH seek passionate and experienced Chefs to join our team. We have a range of opportunities available across our Managed Camps and Labour Hire divisions. These roles are primarily relief-based, stepping in as required to support operations ranging in size from 5 to 2,000 personnel.

For the right candidates, there is also the potential for placements within our Managed Camps on even time rotations, subject to performance and business requirements.

DUTIES INVOLVED

  • Create and deliver high quality, nutritious, delicious meals that exceed expectations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive and enjoyable dining experience
  • Adapt to different kitchens and environments while delivering mouth-watering dishes
  • Maintain and promote impeccable standards of cleanliness, organisation and comfort within camp and village facilities and adhering to HACCP guidelines and Food Safety Standards

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Nationally Recognised Trade Qualification with a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australian Qualification)
  • Open unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience working in remote environments or camps (highly advantageous)
  • Ability to undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test
