About the role

Opportunity for a highly motivated, adaptable Dental Assistant to take care of our patients. Working alongside our Dentists and Oral Health Therapist you will be part of a fun and supportive team that pride themselves on delivering quality dental treatment & exceptional customer service in a fun fast-paced environment. Working across two locations Port Macquarie & Bonny Hills.

The role involves delivering dental treatment and exceptional customer service to our patients. You will be responsible for chair-side assisting, maintaining infection control procedures, sterilization, and reception duties. This position will suit someone that is enthusiastic, reliable, holds high ethical values, is open to change and enjoys working in a busy team environment. No 2 days are the same.

Casual Position Available hours per week.

Looking for a long term candidate.

Skills and experience

To excel in this position, you will need to have the following attributes:

  • A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
  • Fully Vaccinated against Hep A & B and up to date with all childhood vaccinations including tetanus & Whooping cough.
  • Positive attitude and mindset
  • Be well presented and professional
  • Have a great attitude towards teamwork
  • Be flexible when required
  • Superior organisational skills & attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and good ability to multi-task with time efficiency
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Willingness to grow and learn
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (is a bonus but not a requirement)
  • First aid (bonus)
  • Customer service experience required
  • WWCC (or willing to obtain)
  • Police Check (or willing to obtain)
