Kennedy & Cooke Lawyers Pty Ltd is seeking a Legal/Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy regional law practice. This role involves supporting senior and associate solicitors in probate and estate matters, as well as assisting a licensed conveyancer with the management of conveyancing files. Key responsibilities are:

  • Liaise and correspond with clients, conveyancers, solicitors, banks, brokers, and real estate agents
  • Prepare documentation, including probate applications, contracts, leases, notices, and transfers
  • Use the PEXA conveyancing platform
  • Calculate settlement figures
  • Undertake searches through our legal software and other platforms
  • General file management duties, including client billings
