About Us

DWA Industrial Resources has been servicing the mining, construction, pastoral, and government industries across Western Australia since 1995. With operations from the Kimberley and Pilbara through to the South West, we are rapidly expanding and seeking HD Mechanics to join our team.

The Role

As an HD Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy mining, earthmoving, and transport equipment
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
  • Installing and aligning mechanical components
  • Working safely in site-based environments

This is a site-based role on a 2:1 FIFO/DIDO roster, with mobilisation to Broome (FIFO) or local DIDO options available.

Essential Requirements

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate – HD Mechanic / Diesel Fitter
  • Current WA Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, police clearance and drug & alcohol screening

Desirable extras:

  • Hydraulic system experience
  • Welding skills
  • Cert II Auto Electrical
  • Tickets in crane, forklift, working at heights, confined space, construction
