Willis Setouts and Surveys is seeking a qualified and experienced Surveyor to join our team in a full-time
capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and conducting survey work
to determine, delineate, plan, and precisely position tracts of land, natural and constructed features,
coastlines, marine floors, and underground works. This role also involves managing related information
systems. Registration or licensing may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys of land, natural features, coastlines, marine floors, and underground works with
precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain plans, maps, charts, and survey data for engineering, construction, and land
management purposes.
- Operate and manage advanced survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and digital
mapping tools.
- Analyse and interpret data, providing technical advice and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, planners, and construction teams to support project
requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
- Manage survey information systems and maintain accurate records.
Skill & Experience Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Surveying (Bachelor's degree or higher).
- At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for a formal qualification.
- High level of technical expertise in land and construction surveying.
- Strong understanding of survey instruments, mapping, and spatial information systems.
- Registration or licensing as required under relevant state or territory law.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and professional standards.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
Summary of role requirements:
Working hour: Monday to Friday ( 8am-5pm)
2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
Expected salary: $80,000 per year

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
