Project Overview:

Join the expansion of Pluto Train 2, the second LNG train at the Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha, Western Australia. This project, led by Woodside Energy and delivered by Bechtel, will process Scarborough gas with a capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum and enhance domestic gas infrastructure to ~225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

What's on Offer:

  • 3:1 FIFO to Karratha, with direct flights from Brisbane & Perth.
  • Fly home on the morning of day 21, paid at ordinary hours – home the same day
  • Choose to have your RDO paid during RNR or at the end of your contract.
  • Full-time, permanent (4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days personal leave).
  • 68 hour work week and weekly pay

Allowances:

  • $5.40 per hour site allowance.
  • $1.93 per hour trade allowance.
  • $175 per week project incentive payment (PIP).
  • Severance payment of 2x base hourly rate per week.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of Major Construction/Project experience, preferably in an LNG environment.
  • Minimum 2 years combined Pressure Testing experience of either pipelines, piping systems, hydrostatic and Pneumatic testing.
  • Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
  • Comfortable working in hot and physical environment
  • Able to climb stairs, work at heights on ladders, steps and scaffolds
  • Mechanical Fitter trade or Fabrication Trade required

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Understanding of FIFO and FIFO related role requirements
  • Reading technical drawings
  • Ability to follow & completion of ITRs & ITPs
  • Understanding of PTW, JHA systems
  • Flange management experience, experienced with Torque & Tensioning techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience with NPT/JIC hydraulic fittings
  • Ensure adherence to all site and safety requirements
  • Embrace additional duties when required by site supervision to do so
