Our operations encompass year-round vineyard management, seasonal harvesting, and packing, with an emphasis on innovative and sustainable farming practices, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time, experienced, and bilingual Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, and compliance management to ensure our business is supported by a skilled and reliable workforce throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, prepare, and place recruitment advertisements for seasonal, casual, and permanent positions through multiple channels.

· Conduct candidate screening, interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks to ensure suitability for vineyard operations.

· Maintain accurate personnel records and manage workforce data using HR information systems.

· Provide advice and guidance to management on workplace relations policies, performance management, and disciplinary processes.

· Arrange and conduct staff inductions, providing information on conditions of employment, workplace safety, salaries, and career development opportunities.

· Receive and record job vacancy details from management, including position descriptions, pay rates, and employment conditions.

· Advise job seekers and internal stakeholders on current job opportunities within the business.

· Negotiate employment terms and conditions, and assist in resolving disputes, grievances, and workplace issues.

· Interpret and apply relevant legislation, industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and employment contracts to ensure compliance.

· Develop and implement workplace relations policies, workforce planning strategies, and staff engagement programs.

· Oversee employee consultation processes, including workplace committees and participation initiatives, to promote a positive and compliant work environment.

· Skills and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, HR Officer, or similar role (experience in agriculture or horticulture recruitment highly regarded).

· Strong understanding of Australian workplace laws, employment regulations, and WHS requirements.

· Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Fluency in English to effectively engage with a diverse workforce, if the applicant speaks a second language, that is preferred..

· Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, particularly during peak harvest seasons.
