The Role

As Assistant Centre Manager, you will:

  • Work alongside the Centre Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Step into a leadership role, supporting and mentoring educators across the service.
  • Gain hands-on experience in compliance, regulations, and quality improvement.
  • Build strong partnerships with families and contribute to community engagement.
  • Support with rostering, enrolments, and administration while maintaining a child-first approach.
  • Take on leadership responsibilities when the Centre Manager is away.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to transition from the room into management or for a current leader looking for growth into a future Centre Manager.

About You

You are:

Diploma or Bachelor qualified in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

Experienced as a Room Leader, Educational Leader, or current 2IC/Assistant Manager.

Ready to expand your leadership skills and step into a bigger role.

Passionate about compliance, safety, and creating a thriving centre environment.
