The Opportunity
You will play a critical role in this fast-paced environment with your decision-making skills and guidance. Collaborating with various stakeholders to optimise resource allocation while maintaining a high level of service and quality for our clients. The role will require you to have daily interactions with various departments to meet operational needs and to best match client needs with Disability Support Workers and Nurses.
As a Workforce Planner, your daily responsibilities will look include:

Create and manage templates aligning with Roster of Care (ROC) for our clients.

Assist the Senior Rostering Coordinator in generating 6 weekly rosters in timely manner to meet the Social, Community, Housing and Disability (SCHADS) Award and Nurses Award requirements.

Identify communicate gaps in resource planning and coordinate recruitment efforts to close these.

Monitor allocations to ensure that staff are best utilised, meeting their contracted hours, overtime, Award requirements are met, and agency usage is kept to a minimum to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible standard of care.

Demonstrated values-led approach when communicating.

Collaborate with different departments, to meet business goals and maintain transparent communication channels and provide reports, when needed.

Ensure rostering is fair, balanced and provides support worker's safety and participant compatibility and work/life balance.
To be successful in this role you will need:

Previous experience in Workforce Planning and/or Rostering (preferably in a healthcare setting).

An understanding and passion for working in a person-centred organisation.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

High level communication skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and dedication.

A friendly and professional demeanour.

Well-developed organisations skills including attention to detail.

NDIS Workers Check Clearance.

Working Rights/Visa/Passport.
Skills
-
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
-
Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience in Leading a team in a medium organisation and across multiple sites.
-
Have experience in coordinating services in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
