About the role

Strawberry Fields Cottage Wamberal is welcoming a Cert III qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant centre on the NSW Central Coast. You'll be a part of a warm and friendly team that upholds an exceptional quality of care towards our community.

About us

We are a 50 place centre that's quietly nestled in the suburbs of Wamberal and only moments away from Terrigal Beach. Our centre is community oriented and we take pride in forming meaningful and trusting relationships with all children and families in our care.

Our teaching style is based on children's interests and playful learning - so we're seeking applicants with strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with children.

The team member that we're looking for will have:

  • A Cert III in Early Childhood Education
  • Preferably at least 1-2 years of previous experience working as a qualified early childhood educator
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current first aid certificate, asthma & anaphylaxis training certificates and Child Protection refresher
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • The ability to implement stimulating interactive learning environments for children
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
