The Role

Ready to ignite your culinary career with one of Australia's most iconic hospitality brands?

Crown Sydney's Culinary Apprentice Program is your pathway to mastering the art of cooking while earning a nationally recognised qualification. You'll enjoy a balanced learning experience:

• 4 days of hands-on training in our world-class kitchens
• 1 day at NSW TAFE to build your theoretical knowledge

As part of the program, you'll rotate through Crown Sydney's exceptional culinary venues, including Epicurean, Cirq, Nobu, In-Room Dining, and our Eventkitchens—each offering unique challenges and opportunities to learn from some of the industry's best. From high-volume buffet service at Epicurean to refined Japanese techniques at Nobu, creative tapas-style dining at Cirq, bespoke in-room experiences, and luxurious event banquets, you'll gain exposure to diverse culinary styles and develop a well-rounded skill set.

About You

• A genuine passion and dedication for cooking — no prior professional experience required
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions
• Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
• Availability to work full-time on a rotating roster, including late evenings and early mornings
• Commitment to completing a 3-year Apprenticeship with Crown
• Full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Must be available to commence the apprenticeship in mid-January 2026
