The opportunity

As we farewell a valued leader, we're seeking an exceptional Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to co‑lead our clinical operations across a 110+ bed facility. Working alongside another CNM and reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you'll provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight for allocated Houses and inspire a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor CNs, RNs, ENs, and PCWs.
  • Oversee clinical documentation, incident investigations, SIRS reporting and care plan reviews.
  • Monitor and act on clinical indicators and partner with the Quality Manager on quarterly submissions.
  • Chair multidisciplinary/high‑risk meetings and drive clinical education.
  • Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and advance our Continuous Improvement Program.
  • Be a visible, hands‑on leader: engage with residents and families, manage emerging risks and model best practice.

Essential criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions).
  • Extensive clinical experience in residential aged care.
  • Demonstrated leadership: mentoring, performance management and team development.
  • Strong knowledge of ACQS, SIRS, defensible documentation and clinical indicator reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Empathy and respect for older persons from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to improving quality of life for older people.

Desirable

  • Experience with Telstra Health iCare and MediMap (or similar digital clinical systems).
