About the business

Mungalli Creek Dairy is a family-owned paddock to plate producer of award-winning Biodynamic (organic) and gourmet dairy products.

As a Biodynamic farm business, we are focused on producing the best dairy products for our community whilst looking after the land for future generations.

We produce a delicious range of organic and lactose-free ice-creams to complement our well know range of milks, yoghurts, cheese and cream.

About the role

As the Ice-cream Delivery Representative, you will love interacting with our customers and growing sales of our award-winning ice-creams in the Cairns, Townsville and Mackay regions.

This role has a high level of autonomy, whilst working closely with our Sales & distribution team.

The role is Cairns based with alternate weeks spent servicing Townsville and Mackay regions, accommodation and meal allowances provided.

You will need an LR Truck License (or be willing to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

• Increasing sales of our award-winning ice-creams
• Maintaining and building great working relationship with our customers, whilst developing new sales channels and opportunities
• Packing and loading a small Eutetic LR Truck with your orders
• Merchandising our ice-cream, restocking and placing orders
• Provide a weekly report to our Sales Manager on achievements and new opportunities.
• Assisting our Warehouse Team as needed
• Attending promotions and events as required

You will be upbeat, warm, friendly and enjoy both building strong client relationships; whilst delivering and increasing sales of our premium ice-cream to cafes, retailers, supermarkets, tourism and entertainment venues.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• An LR License
• An Excellent Driving Record
• Knowledge of delivery areas in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and surrounding regions
• A happy upbeat disposition and be well presented
• A positive can-do attitude and good physical fitness
• Organisational and computer skills
• Great communication and reporting skills

Physical fitness will be important as you will be lifting boxes of product and working between warm and cold environments as part of your normal day to day activities.

As a customer-focused business, you must enjoy going that extra mile to deliver great customer service

We value flexibility and you must be available for some early morning starts and some late finishes and some promotional activities. You may also assist our warehouse team as needed.

You will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team. Roster usually with a twice a month earlier starts as needed for special runs.
