Sarina Dental Care is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team in Sarina, Queensland. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring the work area is organised and clean
- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Greeting and welcoming patients, helping them feel comfortable, and guiding them through the dental care process
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any patient inquiries or concerns
- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling payments
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental equipment and software
