You will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen commercial performance and support CM&E's long-term objectives.

Full time ongoing position. Band 4.3 $114,173.28 p.a. plus superannuation.
Your Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Extensive relevant experience in a senior business role and/or hospitality/events sales managementStrong relationship management experience, including fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external industry stakeholdersExperience in revenue streams such as general tourism and events desirableProven leadership experience with a track record of building high performing teamsExtensive experience in revenue management to optimise commercial outcomesAbility to think creatively with a customer-first, results-oriented mindsetExcellent business acumen and strong negotiation skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsFor more details about the accountabilities of the position please read Position Description - Manager CME Sales and Events November
About the Team
The Conference, Meetings & Events team sits within Customer Experience Business Unit and is responsible for the sales and planning of events for internal departments, resident companies and corporate clients of Arts Centre Melbourne function venues. The team comprises sales and event management to ensure a central touch point for all clients across the business.
