Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Tradesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of trades and be able to perform a range of tasks related to construction, maintenance, and repair. The Tradesperson will work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:


• Complete all site inductions in accordance with client requirements


• Attend daily pre-start meetings before beginning work


• Clock in and out take photos of works for review with management


• Follow structured processes throughout the workday


• Perform tasks with a focus on safety and quality


• Accurately measure and cut roofing sheets and flashings


• Install and repair flashings, roof sheets, and wall cladding


• Install gutters, downpipes & roofing


• Take direction and execute tasks as instructed


• Read and understand site plans & elevations


• Understand project scope and productivity targets


• Communicate effectively with the Site Supervisor regarding daily activities and potential challenges


• Maintain familiarity with and appropriately use the internal CRM system for task tracking and communication


• All licenses, tickets and tools for the trade expected

Required Skills & Attributes:


• Clear, concise communication with both office staff and on-site team


• Basic understanding of or willingness to learn internal CRM system usage


• High Risk tickets


• Cert 3 Roof plumbing/Carpentary


• 5+ Years Experience


• Plan and scope understanding
