Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic | Banana Workshop

The role:

Toll Group are seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to work within our Banana Workshop. Full Time Permanent positions are on offer working on a 7 on/7 off roster.

As a trade qualified heavy vehicle diesel mechanic, you will bring your extensive experience in servicing and repairs to our fleet. Vehicles with the fleet include Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, and Multiple trailer Manufacturers.

The Equipment team are dedicated to upholding our core values on quality, safety, and the environment.

Global Logistics Equipment play a very important role as we provide services that Toll's entire Australian Fleet depends on daily. We are the support behind Toll Global Logistics, helping move the businesses that move the world

You will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards
  • All general servicing tasks as required
  • To maintain quality and urgency in the work preformed
  • Operate in compliance to the NHVAS scheme
  • Always Maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)
  • Previous diagnostic investigation experience
  • Be a team player, open and honest who consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experience
  • An unwavering commitment to safety
