Our client requires a Senior Network Engineer. This role has accountability for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network and security solutions: design, implement, and manage complex network solutions using Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.

Main Accountabilities

  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Cloud networking and Cloud VoIP systems.
  • Develop and implement network design and architecture strategies to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement network segmentation to enhance security and performance.
  • Configure and manage routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance and reliability
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives
  • Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate measures and protocols.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference
  • Approve network design
  • Approve implementation estimates
  • Resolve implementation issues

About you:

  • Minimum of 8
    + years
    in network design and security roles
  • Proven track record of successful project implementations
  • Familiarity with
    NIST
    ,
    ISO 27001
    , and other security frameworks
  • Knowledge of
    OT security
    principles and
    IoT security
    best practices

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, Cloud networking, Cloud VoIP, network design and architecture, and network segmentation design and implementation
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Meraki Certification) are a plus
