About the Position

The position is based in Pampoolah, and we are looking for a responsible, self-motivated, and organised Truck Driver to join our team. The role involves the distribution, transport and delivery of high-quality timber goods and products.

Travel to locations may include local, regional deliveries as well as trips to Sydney and Brisbane, with the base in Pampoolah. Travel allowance is provided, and some overnight stays (up to 2 nights per week on certain weeks) may be required.

You'll assist with maintaining high standards to enable optimum production performance and safe operations. As the delivery driver for Ironwood Australia, you are the face of our brand and need to display absolute professionalism when communicating with our clients and builders.

About You

  • Current valid truck licence - HR/HC
  • Minimum of 12 months previous experience driving a HR Truck
  • Drivers' licence with a sound driving history.
  • Minor traffic infractions are acceptable for this role.
  • Must have your own reliable transport (travel to and from work)
  • Ability to follow work instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to do manual handling when required.
  • A strong focus on safety being at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Ensure accuracy with paperwork and attention to detail.
  • Great verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with our customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Reliable with strong work ethic and a great team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Open to personal development and learning new skills.
  • Ability to pass an alcohol and drug test.
  • Timber industry experience highly regarded but not essential.
  • Warehouse and logistics experience an advantage.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
