About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at a busy medical practice in Doveton. This part-time role offers 3 to 4 shifts per week, with flexibility required. The ideal candidate will have experience using Best Practice software, a passion for patient care, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and manage appointment bookings efficiently
  • Maintain patient records accurately using Best Practice software
  • Process Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and private billing
  • Handle general administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and responding to emails
  • Support doctors and nurses with daily operations
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
