What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the leadership team, you will:

  • Report to the Engineering Manager and lead electrical teams to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical assets, from compliance to innovation.
  • Champion risk management, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.
  • Collaborate across site and group engineering teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop emerging engineering talent.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance: Lead HSEC initiatives, ensure statutory compliance, and manage risk.
  • Reliability Strategy: Implement long-term reliability plans and digital monitoring systems.
  • Contract & Cost Oversight: Act as Principal's Representative for electrical contracts, audits, and reporting.
  • Talent Development: Mentor junior engineers and promote consistent engineering practices.
  • Innovation & Projects: Partner with OEMs and site teams to drive automation and lifecycle asset management.
  • Strategic Input: Advise senior leadership on engineering strategy, budgets, and performance.

What You Bring

  • Advanced Diploma or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • NSW Certificate of Competency & Practising Certificate
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in contract management and project delivery
  • Qualifications in risk, leadership, or project management
