About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Cloud and Hosting Architect
to join our team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping to design, implement, and optimize cloud and hosting solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid/on-premise environments. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical advisor for cloud and hosting services to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Design and develop end-to-end cloud and hosting architectures across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
  • Collaborate with application, network, and solution architects to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of cloud and hosting architectures with enterprise standards, governance, and security frameworks.
  • Work closely with cloud and hosting engineers to ensure smooth consultation and transition from design to execution.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    AWS
    and
    Microsoft Azure
    platforms.
  • Knowledge of
    AI and ML infrastructure
    design and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with
    API integration
    ,
    container orchestration
    , and
    data platforms
    (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Understanding of
    data security
    and compliance for AI workloads.
  • Familiarity with
    server and blade hardware
    ,
    SAN/NAS storage
    , and
    backup & recovery
    solutions.
  • Experience with
    VMware virtualization
    and
    hyper-converged infrastructure
    .
  • Exposure to
    Splunk
    or other monitoring and management tools.
  • Knowledge of
    Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops, and NetScaler
    environments.
  • (Preferred) Understanding of
    BHP's hosting domains
    or similar large-scale enterprise environments.
