About the role: 

Directly reporting to the Food Service Supervisor/Coordinator, this role is responsible for providing the highest possible level of quality service. This is achieved by teamwork ensuring functions are consistent with daily work routines and schedules maintained as per agreed procedures.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Commitment to providing a level of care that we would expect for our friends & family,
  • Complying with WHS policies and procedures within Southern Adelaide Local Health Network,
  • Use any equipment provided and undertake any reasonable instruction from Supervisors/Manager,
  • Assisting with hazard identification, risk assessment and control measure processes

About you:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as an effective team member,
  • Ability to exercise judgment on day-to-day tasks,
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job which include medium strength manual handling,
  • Ability to prioritise and meet strict time frames for food service delivery,
  • Understanding of a production kitchen and kitchen type duties,
  • Customer service or dealing with empathy
