  • $68.13 p/h + penalties
  • Located in Lisarow, NSW
  • Monday to Friday, 38 hrs per week

About Our Client:

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist / Fitter & Machinist to join our client's dynamic and growing maintenance and repair team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a strong mechanical background to work with a well-established organisation in the engineering sector. Our client is a well-established engineering and maintenance company based in Lisarow, specialising in the repair, refurbishment, and supply of industrial rotating equipment. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and technical expertise, they provide reliable solutions to a wide range of industries including mining, manufacturing, and utilities.

What you will be doing:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating lathes, boring machines, and related manual machining equipment
  • Performing precision machining and fitting from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Assembling, fault diagnosing, and repairing rotating and metal equipment
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

What you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in manual machining, fitting, and assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Highly Regarded Skills

  • Laser alignment experience
  • Welding skills (TIG, MIG, or ARC)
  • Experience with pump and rotating equipment maintenance
