About the Role

We are seeking skilled and reliable Floor Finishers to join our team in Wattle Grove. In this

full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing, sanding, polishing, and finishing various

types of flooring including concrete, timber, vinyl, and laminate.

You will contribute to high-quality results on residential and commercial sites, ensuring

finished surfaces are durable, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

 Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and removing existing

coatings or contaminants.

 Operate industrial grinding and polishing machines to refine concrete floors to

a smooth, high-gloss finish.

 Apply densifiers, sealers, and protective coatings to enhance durability and

aesthetic quality.

 Assess floor conditions and perform minor surface repairs such as patching

cracks or filling joints.

 Ensure precise finishing in accordance with project specifications and client

expectations.

 Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and

workplace safety

Requirements

 2 year's experience as a floor finisher or in a related trade

 Certificate III in Flooring Technology or relevant experience

 Skilled in using polishing and sanding equipment

 Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

 Physically fit and dependable

 White Card (Construction Induction) required

 Valid driver's licence and reliable transport preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
