Carpenter

B & S Brothers Enterprises is located at 25 Budburst Dr Sunbury VICTORIA 3429 seeking a skilled full-time Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring all work meets high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Salary – great salary ranging from $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Studying blueprints or drawings of the planned construction or repairs and plans sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed

· Ordering and selecting timber and materials and preparing layouts.

· Cutting materials, assembling, and nailing cut and shaped parts.

· Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures.

· Lay out floorings, roofing or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible

· Frame room additions as needed for client.

· Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install and subsequently install them.

· Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.

· Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.

· Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.

· Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance

· May have to repair existing fittings.

· May work with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metal

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

· Certificate IIl or higher

· Minimum of two years or Experience

· Must have Construction White Card

· Eye for Detail

· Knowledge of Australian workplace safety standards

Remuneration
