We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team in Cairns in Far North Queensland. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing insurance-related projects, have proven team leadership and communications skills, be technology literate and focused on detail.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of insurance projects, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company standards, policies, on time and to budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the project coordinator.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management, Clients and Customers.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
  • Identify and engage with suppliers and trades to obtain quotes and deliver services.
  • Perform material take-offs, obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers for materials and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the insurance or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
