We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic HR Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in updating company policies, enhancing company culture, driving effective recruitment and retention strategies, and ensuring workplace safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment, and a commitment to employee well-being and development.

As the sole HR professional in our subsidiary you will be comfortable leading the function as well as working in the detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Development and Management:

- Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.

- Communicate policy changes to all employees and provide training sessions as needed.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and recommend improvements.

- Intercompany liaison and alignment with the Maytronics group HR  and other subsidiaries to implement best practices

2. Company Culture:

- Promote and cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that aligns with the organization's values and goals.

- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale including team events and communication programs.

- Implement and assist managers to install a culture of performance within the company including rewards and recognition programs.

3. Recruitment and Retention:

- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including recruitment, onboarding and induction.

- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.

- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and succession planning.

4. Other:

- Lead the health and safety function in the company, ensuring policies, procedures and processes are at implemented and maintained.

- Assist with travel arrangements for the leadership team and/or team activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in HR.

- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
