About the Role

We are currently looking for a Boilermaker/Operator to support our CHPP operations. This is a local, residential position – perfect for a qualified tradesperson seeking full-time work close to home. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing CHPP equipment as well as supporting the operation of machinery during plant shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct welding, fabrication, and structural repairs on CHPP fixed plant
  • Assist in day-to-day CHPP operations, including plant startups, monitoring, and shutdowns
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and reliable plant operation
  • Complete job safety analyses (JSAs), isolation procedures, and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
Requirements:
  • Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication)
  • Experience in CHPP or heavy industrial maintenance and plant operation
  • Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work to high WHS standards
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Additional tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, and Forklift highly regarded
