We are seeking motivated candidates to join our strong team to provide housekeeping services during our busy peak season. Comfort Inn Robe is a stunning location looking over the lake in a popular beach side town. Shifts are based in the mornings, so you will have late afternoons and evenings to explore this iconic South Australian region. M&G Hotel Group support training, development and the management of Comfort Inn Robe.

On site staff quarters can be provided for the right candidate, that will be negotiated based on experience and time dedicated to this position.

BROAD PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Housekeepers maintain Apartments, Motel Rooms and public area cleanliness, quality and presentation to a high standard. You will support guests to ensure a smooth check in and positive experience when staying with us. Housekeepers communicate with reception using TEAMS & RMS property management system. Your role includes executing procedures, high standards of cleanliness, presentation, time management, facility care, amenities, stock control, ordering, BBQ area management and general maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

· Service guest accommodation to ensure rooms/apartments are cleaned as required and maintained to a high standard. Eye for detail to achieve guest satisfaction of high standard room/public area presentation & cleanliness with well stocked rooms and trolleys.

· Work with your team, communicate when you have finished an area, check all stock is topped up and presented consistently from room to room.

· Start and finish a room using expected time frames per room type. Comply with general room clean time frames.

· Report maintenance, lost property, incidents as per procedure.

· Address any marks, spot cleaning needs, window frames, check and dust all surfaces high and low. Report stains or damages for immediate attention.

· Take pride in presentation of rooms - check all fridge, cupboards, storage areas, quality of blankets in storage, under beds, walls, windows, curtains etc.

· Marketing material in rooms must be of new quality standard; replace signage/letters if req.

· When walking from one room or location, move with urgency for best efficiency. Time management is critical to run a good operation and to keep the workload fair across the team.

· Keep storerooms and laundry area, neat and tidy at all times.

· Drive your self-development; learn your product; maintain & care for the product and the tools provided.

· Follow TANDA procedures for shift availability and attendance variations.

· Be on time, trustworthy; reliable; and a driver of great teamwork culture.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

· Understanding of housekeeping or cleaning terminology, standards and COVID safe practices. Security of property, keys and client information.

· Ability to work within a team environment & cross over skills to achieve business needs.

· Report OH&S, security or concerns – handovers, incident reporting.

· Friendly demeanor with customers

· Great presentation of self & property; pride in uniform.

· Drivers licence.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

· Previous experience working in a housekeeping department or cleaning environment.

· Understanding of public health and hygiene requirements.

· Cleaning technology & RMS knowledge.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
