Tax Accountant

s. The firm works with a diverse clientele including individuals, small businesses, and trusts providing tailored financial guidance and full compliance with Australian tax regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodg
    e tax retur
    ns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
  • Assist wit
    h BAS, GST, and F
    BT preparation and lodgment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and revie
    w financial records and repor
    ts in line with accounting standard.
  • Conduc
    t tax resear
    ch and stay up to date with changes in Australian taxation law.
  • Support the delivery o
    f tax planning and advisory servic
    es, offering proactive client solution
  • Ensure all documentation and lodgments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with and learn fro
    m senior tax accountan
    ts, contributing to team development and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding
    of Australian Taxat
    ion including Tax Returns, BAS, GST, and FBT.
  • Experience usi
    ng MYOB AE (Accountants Enterpri
    se) or similar accounting software.
  • Prior experience
    in public practice account
    ing in Australia.
  • CA/CPA qualif
    ied or currently undertaking studies.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and client service skills.
