Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pig Farmer located in WA, on behalf of our client. The Pig Farmer will be responsible for the daily management and care of pigs, including feeding, monitoring health, and maintaining clean and safe facilities. Responsibilities also include breeding management, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with animal welfare regulations. The role involves collaborating with veterinary professionals, managing farm staff, and operating machinery and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal husbandry, including feeding, health monitoring, and breeding management in commercial settings
• Bachelor of animal science preffered
• Knowledge of animal welfare standards and regulations
• Skills in record keeping and data management
• Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in agriculture or animal science are beneficial
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Preferably Filipino applicants
