Centre Director (Maternity Leave Contract)

A well-established early learning service in Sydney is seeking an experienced and values-driven Director to join our team for a 6–12 month maternity leave contract, with the possibility of extension.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you'll provide confident leadership and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a high-quality early learning service. You'll work alongside a passionate Educational Leader and be supported by an experienced leadership and administrative team.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will ideally commence as soon as possible to allow for a handover period ahead of the current Director's maternity leave.

About You

You are an experienced early childhood professional who brings both warmth and strong organisational capability to your leadership. You're committed to maintaining high standards of quality practice and building a positive, collaborative team culture.

You will have:

  • A recognised Early Childhood Teacher qualification (or ACECQA-approved equivalent); Diploma-qualified leaders with strong experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and develop a team of educators.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • A respect for the Christian values that underpin the service's philosophy and community.
