About Our Founder

Aspirall was co-founded by Tanya Diesel, who has over 25 years of experience in strategy, culture and leadership. She has held senior roles with Deloitte Consulting and Braxton and has worked alongside many of Australia's most senior leaders and Boards. Tanya is passionate about inspiring leaders to extend their impact and create lasting transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Tanya and our team to design and deliver transformational programs that address the complex strategic challenges our clients face.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of organisation development (OD), instructional and leadership development design. A creative, transformational and commercial approach to work and a consultative mentality you will work on design projects focused on strategic outcomes, leadership capability, culture uplift and deep purpose and inner work. Design projects are focused on delivery to senior leaders (c-suite, Boards, ASX listed entities and government agencies) across a diverse mix of industries.

Leading the design approach, supporting and partnering with the consultants, delivering on design, project management and leadership are key parts of the role. The ability to deal with and create systemic transformational programs effectively is essential. Each project is about understanding the client's needs and identifying opportunities. The approach requires strong understanding of integral and systems thinking.

Role Description

We are seeking a Lead Designer to join our team at Aspirall Consulting International, a unique design and innovation consultancy practice.

High Level Role Requirements

  • Lead high profile strategic design projects for blue chip clients, design that is systemic, transformational and creative
  • Take charge of research, head up strategic design and foresight for the team
  • Be business savvy, helping create new products and revenue streams
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the team specifically around design capability and skills
  • Experience in supporting senior management and consultants
  • Ability to balance being supportive, caring and 'of service' orientation with assertiveness of own views and ideas
  • Interested in and actively pursuing their own personal development
  • Flexible outside of core hours

Key Performance Areas

  1. Design of leader led transformational interventions following the Aspirall approach
  2. Designing programs and content in partnership with consultants and by yourself
  3. Consultant Partnering & Support – delivering highly tailored client-oriented design in accordance with the critical path. Set up and maintain relationships, equal and shared partnering, relationship building, conflict management, leadership through difficulty and resistance
  4. Intellectual Property Research, Development and Management - creation and management of templates, knowledge of adult learning principles and learning theories, business products and tools and their implementation across all areas of the business
  5. Quality control and continuous improvement, ensuring innovations and improvements are captured in templates and shared across the consulting team and the organisation, technical support, editing and proofing of documents
  6. Understanding of Master Schedule - macro view of all assignment timings/clashes and implications to delivery of design
  7. Resource Management – Preparation of materials and resources for a variety of client engagement needs
  8. Continuous Process Improvement on self and others
