About The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery of Allianz's Sustainability Strategy with a focus on governance and reporting for new business activities.
- Support the Sustainability team in implementing governance and monitoring activities to enhance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance in new business activities.
- Assist in reviewing current ESG activities, policies, and data across environment, climate change, and human rights.
- Contribute to the review of documents and processes to identify and assess due diligence procedures.
- Provide recommendations for improvements, including risk identification and monitoring.
- Support with communication and engagement with internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of Allianz's Sustainability Strategy, governance frameworks, reporting obligations, and risk processes.
About You
- Academic qualification in sustainability, environmental and social discipline preferred.
- Experience in sustainability, governance and reporting including human rights preferred.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong engagement skills with the ability to build internal networks.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, with initiative to suggest commercially viable solutions.
- Experience working with and analysing ESG data sets preferred.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
