The Position - HSIE Teacher, Part Time (Temporary, Parental Relief) Starting Term 1, 2026

We're looking for a suitably experienced part time HSIE Teacher to join our Danebank Community in Term 1, 2026.

If you are passionate about delivering an inspiring and differentiated learning program through high quality teaching, this role and our learning community could be for you. You will be supporting the growth and development of our students and helping them to develop a deep understanding to be reflective and powerful learners.

Key Competencies, Skills and Experience

  • Be a strong Christian role model, with a deep commitment to the Christian purpose and mission of the school
  • Experience in teaching senior HSIE subjects, specifically Business Studies, Legal Studies and Society and Culture.
  • Ability to deliver effective pedagogy in an innovative and engaging manner.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Professional and personal integrity.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • Technologically literate and experienced in the integration of technology into every aspect of students' learning.
  • Willingness to actively engage in co-curricular activities.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.

Essential

  • Qualification in secondary education.
  • Tertiary qualification in related subjects.
  • Accredited with NESA.
  • Working with Children check required.
  • Experience in teaching Stage 6 Business Studies and Legal Studies.

Desirable

  • Capacity to teach Stage 6 Society and Culture.
