About us

Lil digger excavations' is seeking a skilled 2t Posi Combo Operator to join our construction team in Helensvale, QLD. This is a contract or wages role offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the industry.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a 2t excavator and t110 positrack to complete site preparation, plumbing, and earthmoving tasks
• Late model machines and well maintained to the highest standards
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety's
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your team, and the surrounding environment
• Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
• Maintain accurate records and logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Combo Operator in the construction industry
• Relevant licences and certifications, such as a high-risk work licence, MR manual truck licence and construction industry white card
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain construction equipment, (contract fitter used)
• Strong safety-focused mindset and a commitment to upholding workplace health and safety standards
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as required
