About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead compassionate cancer care within our new North Eastern Cancer Centre.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As Nurse Unit Manager, you'll oversee clinical operations, staff development and quality improvement initiatives within our state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility. You'll lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care whilst ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• provide clinical and operational leadership across the cancer care unit
• manage nursing staff performance, rostering and professional development
• ensure compliance with clinical governance and safety standards
• collaborate with medical teams, allied health professionals and support services
• drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality patient outcomes
• mentor and support nursing staff in specialised cancer care practices

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
